Preparing the Mobile App for the Teamworks Gx Platform

Weight data is collected from the Bluetooth scales using the AMS mobile app. To start data collection, the following steps must be completed to configure the mobile app accordingly:

1. Activate kiosk mode on the app.
2. Connect the Bluetooth scales to the iPad.

Activate Kiosk mode

1. Go to Settings > Kiosk.
2. Use the toggle to Enable kiosk mode.
3. Tap Event forms, then use the toggles to select Gatorade Weigh In and Gatorade Weigh Out.
4. Use the back < button to return to Settings.
5. Navigate to the home page and check that the Kiosk mode active banner, Gatorade Weigh In and Gatorade Weigh Out forms are visible.

Connect the Bluetooth scales to the iPad

1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth settings. 
2. Use the toggle to Enable Bluetooth. If you have not already granted permission for the app to use Bluetooth, you will be prompted to do so.
3. Step onto the scales to activate the Bluetooth module and wait until a weight is recorded.
4. Tap Scan for devices to search for the Bluetooth scales.
5. Find the Rice Lake Healthweigh Scale option from the available Bluetooth devices listed, then tap Connect. 
6. When the scales are connected, the device name will be listed under Connected.
7. Return to the home screen to start collecting data.
