The favorite event and dashboard options (if enabled for your role) mean you can choose any number of event forms or dashboards as favorites. When they are selected here, they get promoted on your home page in a few different ways to make it easier for you to access. You can have an unlimited number of favorites.
You can set your own favorite events and dashboards following the steps below, or a Teamworks AMS administrator can also set favorite events and dashboards for you.

When accessing AMS through a web browser, favorite events and dashboards will show up as items on your home page. Selecting a favorite dashboard on the home page will allow you to navigate directly to the dashboard. When you select a favorite event on the home page, you can choose to enter a new record or go to the performance history for that form. In the example below, Jamie Anderson has the Wellness and Training Monitoring dashboard and the Daily Diary event form set as favorites.
Favorite events also appear prominently in the sidebars. Keep in mind that the sidebars show your favorite events, not those of the person you’re viewing.
To set favorite events and dashboards, navigate to the Accounts tool on the web version of AMS. Select the Add button next to Favorite events or Favorite dashboards and select an option from the drop-down menu. To add subsequent favorites, select the Add button again. When you have finished updating your account details, select the Save button and enter your password to confirm the changes.
If the Favorite event forms or Favorite dashboards homepage widgets are active, your favorites will show up as items on your Home screen to make it easier for you to access them.
To set favorites while customizing the homepage, select the Edit button next to the widget name. If an AMS administrator has already set favorites for you, you will see them listed under Favorited. To set favorites for yourself, search for the form or dashboard with the search box or select it from the list of More dashboards or Event forms. Tap the + icon next to the form or dashboard name to set it as a favorite.
To rearrange the order of your favorites, press and drag the icon on the right of the event or dashboard name to a new location.
To remove a favorite, tap the - icon next to the form or dashboard.
After making any changes, ensure to select the Save button. The button will be shown in green if there are any unsaved changes. To cancel your changes and return to the home screen, select the back icon.
If you do not have any favorites, you will be able to add them from the home screen by clicking the Add favorite event forms or Add favorite dashboards button.

On the Favorites screen, you'll see the event forms and dashboards that you have access to on the Athlete app underneath the Events and Dashboards headings. To add favorites, select the tick box next to the event form or dashboard. You can rearrange the order of your favorites by pressing and dragging the icon on the right of the event or dashboard name to a new location. Use the Save button to save your changes and confirm your updates by entering your password. To cancel your changes and return to the Home screen, select the Back button.
You can also edit your favorites by going to Settings, selecting App preferences and then Edit favorite events.
If your AMS site is on an enterprise server and you use different sites on the server (e.g. https://learn.smartabase.com/teach and https://learn.smartabase.com/train), linked event forms set as favorites on one site will be available as favorites on other sites on the server. Avoid setting favorites that are not linked between sites, as it is not possible to have different sets of favorites for each site.
