After entering data into Teamworks AMS, there are several ways that you can re-open the record to view or edit the responses. As long as the record has not been locked, you can edit the fields within the form much like filling out a blank form. If the record was locked when it was saved, you will not be able to edit the record.
You can use the reporting tools available to search for existing records in AMS. In most instances, once you have found the record you can click into it to view and edit the data. On the web, you may also be able to use quick edits to open and edit the record in a pop-up screen, rather than loading the entire page.

To find an existing record on AMS on the web, you can use the following reporting tools:
- Run a report for the event form.
- Search for the record in the performance history.
- Select the record in the calendar.
- Depending on how a dashboard has been configured and your permissions, you may also be able to click through to a record from a dashboard widget. If so, tapping a widget will open a player card; from here, select the relevant record (if applicable) and select the Go to record button.
In addition to the reporting tools, you can use the sidebar to search for a record.
Certain event forms may also contain links to other records through Embedded events or Embedded reports. You can click through to any of these embedded records to view or edit the data.
When you’re looking at form data using the Reports or Performance history tools or in an Embedded report or Embedded event, you might see a pencil icon for each row of data. This indicates that quick editing has been enabled. You can select the pencil icon to access a pop-up screen and quickly update important fields from that record.
In this example, the quick edit feature has been enabled on an injury form. This could help medical staff when they need to efficiently update the injury statuses of people they’re treating. The doctor can use the pencil icon to access the key details of each injury and update the necessary information without needing to view the entire injury record.
Once the fields in the pop-up screen are filled out, they can be saved. The information shown in the report or performance history will be updated to reflect any changes which have been caused by the quick edit, such as a new status. The doctor can then move on to the next injury they want to update.
Note that quick edits are only able to be saved and closed. If the Save and Lock or Save and Enter Another functions are enabled for a form, you'll need to open the record to perform these functions.
Remember to save the form when you have finished editing it so that your record is updated with the latest information.
If you are a professional user (i.e. can access other people’s AMS accounts), you can run a report to view records for an event form. New reports can be created in the Reports tab, while saved reports can be accessed via the Reports home screen widget or the Reports tab. To open a record from a report, select any cell in the relevant of the report table.
If you do not have access to other people's AMS accounts, you will not have access to reports but you can view your existing records in Recent Activities instead. To open a record from the Recent activity screen, select the relevant record from the list.
Depending on how a dashboard has been configured and your permissions, you may also be able to click through to a record from a dashboard widget. If so, tapping a widget will open a player card; from here, select the relevant record (if applicable) and select the Go to record button.
Existing records can be viewed on the My data screen of the app. Use the calendar to search for the date of the record, or scroll up and down in the summary section at the bottom of the screen to search through records. The circled date indicates the first date shown in the summary section on the screen. To quickly return to the current date, tap Today.
A yellow dot on the calendar indicates that a record exists on that day. Tap the date to show a summary of the record(s) entered on that date. Selecting an existing record will open it to show you more information or allow you to edit it.
If you are using the app when offline, records that were entered and saved when online are greyed out on the My Data screen. You cannot open those records until your internet connection is reinstated.
Depending on how a dashboard has been configured and your permissions, you may also be able to click through to a record from a dashboard widget. If so, tapping a widget will open a player card; from here, select the relevant record (if applicable) and select the Go to record button.
